Announcements and Updates as of May 2026:
We have recently launched our Service Coordination Department! Please feel free to refer anyone who has at least three years of experience with Service Coordination as we are looking to fill a few positions for NYC Service Coordination.
For any HR inquiries, please email humanresources@bloomerhealth.com as we are expanding our HR team capacity.
401(k): Please note that all W2 employees will be automatically enrolled in our 401(k) plan, and an 8% contribution will be deducted from your paycheck. If would like to adjust your contribution amount, or if you do not want to be enrolled in a 401(k), you must log in to Human Interest and opt out. Please double check your preferences to ensure you are enrolled or opted out as preferred. If you have any questions, contact support@humaninterest.com.
NYS Approved a 5% Rate Increase! While we are very excited to offer everyone a slight raise, we are waiting to implement this until we see reimbursement from the state. As soon as we do, we will send more updates
Increase/Decrease in Service Requests: Please note that you must provide services for three months before a Service Coordinator or Early Intervention Official Designee (EIOD) will consider a request to increase services, unless there has been a change in a child’s medical diagnosis or status. Please remember that the goal of Early Intervention is to support and facilitate parent/caregiver involvement in order to best support the child. The state is often unwilling to grant an increase unless adequate time and effort has been made to support the child/family.
Caregiver/Babysitter Signatures: Session note signatures are required from the adult present at each session, meaning caregivers (babysitters, daycare providers, nannies, etc.) are eligible to sign. Please communicate this to families at the outset — it simplifies the process significantly, especially when parents are not present at sessions.
Vacation: Friendly reminder to please write only one vacation note for the duration of a vacation (e.g. start date to end date) as the system will process all scheduled sessions within that time as vacation notes automatically. If a vacation is scheduled for mid-week, please make sure you have your session note tiles set and scheduled within that window so that the system recognizes which to cancel.
